Welcome to the New 100 Interviews!

Hello 100 Interviews!
For those of you just joining us, ignore this! Carry on, my wayward children. There’s stories to read!
For those old timers to the site, buckle up. Mama’s got some words for ya.
100 Interviews is about original, people-driven content and it’s going to stay that way, but it’s also about the writers behind the stories. That means there will be little, if any, reposts from other sites for the time being. Everything you see here will be original writing.
I want the 100 Interviews writers to know that their writing is what I — and the 100 Interviews audience — value most. As with the original 100 Interviews, there won’t be an overflow of content. A few new and exciting reads a day are better than trying to cram a zillion shitty articles up onto the site. That’s no fun for anyone.
This is long-form writing. Should keep you well and busy, even if there’s only a few posts a week in the beginning. I’ve gotten a crop of amazing submissions and I want them to be perfect before you guys read them, which I’m super excited for you to do!
I want the readers (that’s you guys) to get to know these new writers like you’ve gotten to know me over the past year. I want them to report, write, journal, interview and most of all put themselves into their stories. I’ll also be writing still — doing interviews (one upcoming one I am so happy I got to do) and sharing my thoughts.
Thank you for being along for this ride, those of you that have been with me from the start. It means a lot, and I’m really happy to keep this going and to give you more stories to read and share and comment on and discuss.
There’s a new comments section by Disqus (Josh and I argue over whether it’s pronounced “discuss” (him) or “discus” (me). He is probably right.) and new FB and Twitter buttons. Comment and talk to us! I want your compliments and your critiques (mostly though, gimme those compliments, jk). There are a lot of you, but this site needs all the love it can get in terms of sharing. Let’s grow the audience together! That’s all I ask in return for our hard work.
Now, there will be two/three new stories up on the site this week by amazing, talented writers I adore. Go and love them!

Love,
Gaby
PS: Friday night @ 7 pm: 100 INTERVIEWS LIVE! at the People’s Improv Theater in NYC. Featuring RL Stine, Julia Segal, Mark Malkoff and Anne Christensen. Be there!
